Here are the main reasons I can think of to maintain a full-year membership in WAU:
1. It Is Less Expensive
Internet Marketing is a business. That is the first thing you need to know in this racket. One prime factor in any business is cost. Cost must be controlled and must be less then income to succeed. So you can save $120.00 / year by purchasing an annual membership. Some think that $120.00 is not a lot of money. John D. Rochefeller thought that a dime was a lot of money. He never wasted a penny. And Mr. Getty had pay telephones in his mansion for his guest. Waste not, want not!
2. To Make a Commitment to Success
A half-hearted commitment to Internet Marketing will result in a collosal failure. Like I said, the boys that are going to Vegas are members that have been here two or more years. They are main contributors to the success of others here too.
3. To Make Contacts
The top earners at WAU are busy people but they have time to answer questions. So they are not only committed to making money, they are committed to making contacts with others. So, they are not only teaching others, they are learning from other members of WA. I try to greet as many new members as I can. Some times I get a good idea from a member who has only been at WAU for a few hours. Those who stick around here meet many people from different persuasions. They are a valuable resource to you.
4. It Takes Time to Learn
Just as you need a method to your madness in starting your Internet business, you also need a method to learn what is available here. Learning involves more than just reading a lesson. You must get the answers to your questions from reliable sources.
You should set up a plan for learning just as you do for starting a marketing campaign. You want to start with the Action Plan and then spread out AND narrow down. That means you need to broaden out and then get into the nitty gritty of this business. It takes time. If you try to go too fast and fail, you will get discouragedand quit. So stick around to get answers to your questions from the forums and other members.
I spent 8-years in college. I strained my brain in science and engineering and such. Before that I spent every day for 22 weeks learning how to survey and track enemy artillery by the sound of the guns. (In Japan, the army didn't know what the heck I was so they sent me to the infantry.)
Auto mechanics require factory training to be considered qualified. Even clerks are trained in department stores.
You have probably had special training in your work. It takes some skill to do even menial jobs.
Internet marketing is no different.
You Need to learn the basics of Internet Marketing and then the details that can get you out of that Day Job--if that is your bend.
WAU is the Place to Learn to Earn!
Now, members, add your reasons!
John

Anyways this is my honest review regarding WA, based upon your article. I hope my opinion is given equal credit and the WA owners do not get offended by it. At times, if I ever need a basic refresher on something I tend to re-sign up for this service, but that%u2019s just me. Overall, I wish WA was onetime fee, but I can%u2019t blame them for designing it the way they have %u2013 more money for them.
Reasons why I disagree based upon your numbering:
1. It is one of the most expensive new affiliate programs on the market. You get much better results from simply learning from free learning tutorials and using your money to buy helpful tools like: SEO optimization, Angela programs, SEO Elite, Keyword Elite 2.0, the list goes on and on.
2. Really has nothing to do with making a commitment. The main purpose anyone would join this site is to make more money. That is a commitment anyone would take regardless.
3. WA is a place to outsource and in-source basic contacts, but once again, in comparison, it has nothing compared to social networks like other services/forums already mentioned.
4. It doesn%u2019t take time to learn this. I learned how to do this within 1-2 days. In fact, I subscribed to WA to learn the program, but the one who actually taught me was bum marketing, which at the time, I thought was a attachment to WA. The more advanced techniques I am still learning, but once again, so is every affiliate marketer out there. No one has this entire business capitalized.
If they can keep an active 5,000 customers, which I believe their probably around 10k in memberships their making 250-500k from this site alone. Of course, that isn%u2019t including basic fees, which should be hosting and their main fee server hosting. Anyways, once again, this is simply my opinion from my standpoint. Others are always entitled to their own opinions. This is not a bashing of WA in any form or fashion. It is simply:
