Everyone talks about PPC. They say they should get into paid advertising. But they never do. They think they can just use SEO for the end all result. Sure it works. But not as fast as it use to work. Just ten years ago it took a few days to get to the first page of a Google search. Guess how many days now? 90 plus if you have what it takes. And 6 months to a year if you don't. Are you prepared to wait that long for one article to make it and get 22 clicks?
PPC can take that article to 500,000 clicks in a week! Are you saying Holy Grail?
So I'm here to express my opinion on PPC. My failure caused me to finally turn to it.
I stayed the course on what was taught me for over a year and made very little money. I believed it was the way to success at the time. Actually I was new and didn't know any better. What we find later on once we gain a certain amount of knowledge is, that what we are doing may be totally wrong for us!
Many move away from WA and join other groups that are a better fit. As some of us are not good students under this particular platform. Not saying it hasn't worked for a dozen or so. We tend to all be different though. So that is one reason why what works for one may not work for thousands of others.
Paid for advertising allows us to see within a week or two that we either need to make changes, or we need to continue testing mode to try and figure what does work. But... That said, we learn quickly what doesn't work so we can make the necessary changes to find what does. We no longer have to go month after month waiting to advance... Inch by inch.
If we keep struggling, then we keep struggling. At one point during our journey we have to draw a line in the sand and make a decision. Free is not always Free! And I get that. But free can cost us thouands of dollars just starting out. Money we could have made if we did choose the right path in the beginning.
I now study under a mentor that allows me to make two dollars for every one dollar I spend on advertising.
Would that not be worth the initial investment and 90 day training? LOL
I Cannot tell you here who it is but it has to do with knowing how to sell on Facebook. That is how I make money. We have to learn a skill, and we have to master that skill. It took a year of going the down the wrong road for me to learn this one thing I'm telling you now! Which is increased learning through failure.
Mike Dillard talks about mastering a skill. Until you do that, you are going to be slowly sinking! So how many years do you want to be underwater?
For those who cannot afford to spend money for testing and learning paid advertising, do this. Make extra money working at something you are good at! Many of you have a choice... Do what you have to do to make the money another way, and then invest that money into paid advertising!
It took Mike 5 years to make the millons he now makes. We don't have to spend five years...and if we are...then we are doing something wrong. Online success doesn't require years of effort! He learned what he was best at and then mastered that skill. Back then times were different. There was very little training. But he now knows the formula for success and is teaching us that formula in a matter of months! And he can duplicate this system anytime he wants a new company or more investments.
We now can learn from experts who have a system in place. What would generally take us five years now only takes us 90 days!
