You only get paid from Amazon if someone that live in the country you Have signed up your Amazon account click and buy from your Amazon Affiliate link. So if you have a UK Amazon account you only get paid From the people that lives in the UK, and you don't get paid anything from Amazon if a person from US buy throughout your Amazon affiliate link. You are missing out on huge revenue opportunities.

Dom W. Has Written a great instruction article on how to how to using the Amazon Link localizer that solve the problem. This instruction I have written Shows the process of how to sign up for Affilliate accounts in several Countries. I Assume that you have signed up for an Amazone Affiliate account, and You have reached this screen shot. Move your mouse to the upper right on the screen, and press the country you want to get a new affiliate account.

Hello and thank you for the great information. Amazon is one site that I am very interested in learning about, and would like to set up my websites to benefit from it. Currently, the only items that I am not buying from Amazon, are grocery items !! I am learning how to do that as well...

Amazon is the world's largest "shopping center" and that gives us as affiliate business professionals great earning opportunities, if we learn how to do it. I think WA is the right place to learn this

Hi and thanks for this information. Quick question - so once you do this for various countries, do you then need to have different call to action links when promoting a product, such as "U.S. residents click here to buy", "United Kingdom residents click here to buy", etc?? Thanks.

I would recommend that you do ! Having call to actions based on countries makes total sense, as well if you are targeting a campaign, then its easier because my UK campaign will have my UK affiliate links ....compare to my US or Canadian campaign.

If you use the Wordpress plugIn, Amazon Link Localizer you do not need to do that. The Plugin automates the entire process. You can insert and remove the country affiliate ID in the Wordpress plugin, so you have control of the country you're promoting in.
