My first month late on rent, I managed to get by that. My second month late, and worse off, that was it! In April I had to leave. My camper stayed there until I could find a job and then I could come back.
Meanwhile, a friend took me in - and he was all for me heading up there to Toledo, Ohio and helping me with a place to stay, I got my own food, to get my business going. Finding a job was not a requirement - but I did do my part helping out where I could there.
I successfully built my first WA campaign there, and on to yet another campaign. To be short, here are a few errors I made living there...
- I got too fancy! Everything had to be perfect and this meant extremely elabourate graphics in my websites! Wow! How far off could I get with this? I spent probably four-fifths of my time on graphics on these websites and about one-fifth on the campaigns themselves - in spite of a number of members telling me I should NOT do this!
- Some of my earlier websites were still hand-built, and this is where the tremendous time suck came in! It wasn't so much the WordPress sites.
- The More the Merrier! That's right - Before I was through, I had 26 websites up and going - none of which were making any money at all!
Let this be some lessons here for some of you new members!
My friend was okay with me being there, even 7 months later, but his family and neighbors were not happy about it. My being there, behind a computer day in, day out grew on them and it became a thing of hate. I still was not making any money!
One needs not go far to wonder why...
Yes, each one of us have to get there our own way. This is an excellent example of what happens when we do not follow the training here and the advice of those who are successful. Thank you for sharing, it is a warning to all- Just Do What Is Taught! The fancy does not matter- nor the elaborate- just do what is taught here, suggested from members, adding your own touch of personality.
