I lived the next three years in that camper. I had no way to keep it up and it was deteriorating. The landlord could see this and it was making him sick. I lost my car and motorized bicycle. However. in 2013, something very unexpected happened...
By this time I had learned to get down to one campaign and keep it there until it would start making money. I had begun the Bootcamp the year before, in spite of serious illness I was having.
One of the members helping me, and the Bootcamp, I wrote an article that hit the audience I was trying to reach at the exact right time, in the right place and about the right thing. I started suddenly getting all kinds of invitations and in the one week, made over ten sales! One of those first sales still shows up in my queue today, but last month might be its last.
I was very excited! It excited other members too.
However, by this time I had over 400 blogs written on here! This was not going over very well with a few members on here. They did not like the stuff I was talking about. This would cost me my write privileges on here because they teamed up on me. When Kyle discovered it, he re-instated my privileges. I had others with pure constructive criticism begin to get me in line about the rank thing. The end of my blogs per day ended. Late that year, I cleaned house. Most of it is gone today.
An incontrovertible fact: As meaningful members tried to warn me - had I put all that energy into writing on my campaign instead of here at WA, I would not have annoyed some here and I would be ranking in the right places - the search engines - and making sales from people reading my writings from my websites.
Yes, each one of us have to get there our own way. This is an excellent example of what happens when we do not follow the training here and the advice of those who are successful. Thank you for sharing, it is a warning to all- Just Do What Is Taught! The fancy does not matter- nor the elaborate- just do what is taught here, suggested from members, adding your own touch of personality.
