This works for attaching any code to images or words but I am just adding this short page in case you might not know how to do this:

Once again have your page/post open in WordPress under the Edit mode like below only this time I am going to attach the "Short Link" to the words describing the product from Amazon that I am promoting:

Click on the chain links in the menu on the first link - this is the link button to attach code to words or images:

Go to Amazon and copy the "Short Link"

Paste this "Short Link" in the small link box at the words or images that you want to attach them to:

Now you must hit the "Apply" for the code to stick to your words if you miss this step then everything you just did will need repeated because you did not link the code to the words or image without hitting the "Apply" button:

Once that is finished you will see this and know that your code is now attached to the words or image and you can now "Update" you page/post knowing that the code has attached itself.
