The only reason I am choosing Amazon now is because in the training Kyle recommends that members apply for an Amazon affiliate account. Once approved the member can then learn the proper way of inserting the links into the pages or posts for products in three ways.

Lately, I have been giving out instructions on this along with other training from other members and the new members are coming back with questions because they do not understand the instructions.

I am hoping that I have made this as easy and simply as possible for all of us to understand and make it that anyone even those with no computer experience can understand and complete this task in a timely manner.

To apply to become an Amazon Affiliate go to Amazon.com and scroll the whole way to the bottom of the screen and you will see the follow:

It is very difficult to read in this image but fourth up from the bottom in the second column is "Become an Affiliate" click on this and you will be taken to a page to sign up for free which looks like this:

Amazon does pay commissions at different rates on the products so you might want to familiarize yourself with what type of commission you are looking at for the products you want to promote.

Click on the "Join Now for Free" button and you will be taken to the sign up page - on this page you will need certain information regarding your website so be prepared to answer questions and give the URL of your website to Amazon. The URL will be linked to your unique affiliate account with them for you to receive your commissions when someone purchases products from your website (Amazon carries a 24 hour cookie) meaning if the person comes back to Amazon within 24 hours of visiting and clicking a link on your website you will earn commission on what they purchase even if it is not something you offered on your website.

Thank you. At times I found if you open two screens to WA
and follow the instructions from one screen or video (you can
pause videos) that it is much easier to follow along. Just
a suggestion.

Hi Regina, every article inside WA, has a special button underneath the title that says "affiliate". Click that button, and it will generate you a link that you can share with people and this can get them inside WA, under your referral code.

Vitaliy has given you the way to share this but to keep it for
a future reference you can also save it to your bookmark list
by clicking on the star at the top of the post - a tab will come
open for you to Tag it with a title you will remember - after
doing this if you look in the black stripe above where the
WA logo is right beside it is a line if you follow it across you
will see another star very light white click on that and this
saves the blog post to your favorites for later reference.

I've found the Amazon affiliate links to be easier to add than some of the others. That is a plus. It's a good one for beginners to start with, I think, because they can see how it is supposed to load onto your post.

Exactly - and being one of the few that will accept new
comers with siterubix websites this is an easy step by
step for them.
