Call To Action (CTA) is, simply explained, an instruction to the visitors of your website content (your page, blog post, article, video, audio, quiz. Whatever..) to do what you want them to do.

You can be very straightforward and ordering or you may give them some suggestions. To do so, use proactive words, phrases or even whole messages.

Be clear with your CTA, to the point and make it nice visual on the page or post. Use it minimum one time (most preferably at the end of the post) or even couple of times all the way through your post. Using of proactive verbs is a great way to entice people, so try to create your CTA that way.

You want your prospects to act, and you want them to act now or latest today! Don’t tell them to act any time later on.

CTA is actually a very common phrase or word used in today’s online marketer arena. Although this is a case, you may invent your own appealing call to action. Do some researches on it and create CTA no one can bypass

CTAs, as Keywords as well, ( read here my article about how to get best keywords for free – you see, this is my long-phrase CTA using imperative words: “read here ...”) need to be relevant to the topic of your post, or in some cases even to the entire site.

Finally, create some opt-in boxes with strong CTA which appear on the exit of the page or post. This would be the last reminder to your visitor, reader, actually possible “future hot prospect”, about what you want from him/her to do!

Wish you “Happy Calling for action!”
