When I write an article I'm aiming for clicks on a web page.

I know that I can put an article up on StreetArticles and have it rated on the first page of Google’s search results within an hour.

I have not been happy with the click-through rate to my web pages because if no one visits my page, I will not be able to warm them up enough to have them click on the enticing link at the end of the page that may lead to a sell.

Bummer!

What do you do in such a case?

I went to Carson and cried “HELP!”

There are some excellent ideas in the many tutorials on article writing here at WAU.

I hope you will not mind me adding my two bits including some of the points that Carson pointed out to me.

John, I really appreciate it when a fellow student conveys their personal thoughts and learning experiences. It does a great deal for me to hear about the process of moving from perceived effective strategies, to their learned effective strategies. Thanks for sharing this. -John Mark

I wasn't getting clicks by just writing content. I had to take better aim and found it important to add subtitles. Simple things make a difference in this business, John Mark. John

I like the part about thinking of what your audience what's to find when they read your article. If you are not giving them information or catching their interest they will never click through to a product. Your title was great - I do want to learn what Carson suggested.

This is the second time I've used Carson's name in a blog or tutorial. I hope he doesn't shoot me. But he has made a difference. John
