Business Plan Templates

The following sample pages from a business plan template gives you an idea of the detail that may be required when writing your new business plan. This template is courtesy of the Australian Government Small Business website, that I found through my banking institution.

Skill retention strategies

[What procedural documentation will you provide to ensure the skills of staff are maintained? Do you have an appropriate allocation of responsibilities? How are responsibilities documented and communicated to staff? What internal processes will you implement to regularly check that the current skills of staff members are still appropriate for the business?]

(End of example pages)

As you can see, the italicized sections are what you fill out with the interesting details of your business. The questions listed give you the direction you should take. For example, the section on training programs gives each business owner plenty of food for thought on what strategies may create the business growth you are hoping for.
