In order for your domain to point to WA Hosting, you need to update your DNS (Domain Name Server) settings within your Domain Registrar.

OK, before I completely lose you with all this "DNS" talk, I will help you understand what is happening here.

WA Hosting is where you are going to be putting all of your website files. These are the same files that load when people will be visiting your domain. Your Domain is the address of your website. In order to connect these two items, you need to tell your domain where to look for the files. This is where the DNS settings come in. When you update these to point to WA Hosting, we automatically know where to look.

The name servers for Wealthy Affiliate Hosting ALWAYS are:

In order for your domain name to point to your web space, you need to tell it where the web space is. To do this, we use something called "Name servers". A name server is simply an address that you need to point your domain to in order for it to connect with your web space.

The place that you update your DNS settings, will depend on where you purchased your domain (Domain Registrar). This will likely be:

We are going to explain how to update your DNS within all of these system in the upcoming pages, so choose according to where you bought your domain.

Hi guys.

I don't know how I did it...but I did it (connected my Godaddy domains--Lol). The instructions above are slightly different (as, the word, "launch" is not next to "Domains" on the Godaddy site), however, once you find and select your Domains (on the Godaddy site), you can pick back up with Step # 4 (from above).

I will attempt this again. I do not want to mess this up. The training is not matching the GoDaddy site, it appears to be outdated. After searching my domain manager I did find a section called Records under DNS Management. There is an add button at the bottom then a dropdown that says 'Nameserver" Need to know if this is where I change the server. There are two boxes 'Host' and the' Point to'. Is this where I put in the primary and secondary host from WA? Also, there is a box 'TTL' do I do anything with that? Help!
WealthyAsFCK Premium can do it!!!!! go go go!!! just keep trying, you will get it!!
I haven't done this in a while otherwise I would insert advice here.

Bought my domain from, and changed the DNS settings accordingly. However, whenever I go to the domain, I got this error :

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
Automatically report details of possible security incidents to Google. Privacy Policy

What would be the solution? Many thanks.

This is the instructions I have for my google domain, however, it suggests 4 and to hit the + button to add more, but there is no + button.
Name servers

To view the name servers for your domain, do the following:

Click My domains in the navbar and click the domain name.
Click the DNS tab .
Scroll down to Name servers section to see a list of the name servers for your domain.
To switch to custom name servers, do the following:

You must use at least two name servers. Google recommends that you use at least four. Check with your DNS provider for the number and names of name servers available to you.

Under Name servers select Use custom name servers.
Enter a custom name server in the Name server field.
Click the + button to add another.
Click Save to save your name server.
Set up new resource records with your DNS provider. (The Google Domains resource records only work with the Google Domains name servers.)

I did that a long time ago and it was pointed to WA but what the problem is, is what I know nothing of. I want to ask if one can re-purchase this niche with WA hosting if it finally turns out that all our effort is futile out there?
MsMerry Premium
Not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if you can buy the same domain again but thru WA at a later time? It is not a niche you would be purchasing, but another domain name. You can change your niche at any time you want and add more domains as you go along as well. Where are you in your training?
