In order for your domain to point to WA Hosting, you need to update your DNS (Domain Name Server) settings within your Domain Registrar.

OK, before I completely lose you with all this "DNS" talk, I will help you understand what is happening here.

WA Hosting is where you are going to be putting all of your website files. These are the same files that load when people will be visiting your domain. Your Domain is the address of your website. In order to connect these two items, you need to tell your domain where to look for the files. This is where the DNS settings come in. When you update these to point to WA Hosting, we automatically know where to look.

The name servers for Wealthy Affiliate Hosting ALWAYS are:

Primary: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: ns2.mywahosting.com

In order for your domain name to point to your web space, you need to tell it where the web space is. To do this, we use something called "Name servers". A name server is simply an address that you need to point your domain to in order for it to connect with your web space.

The place that you update your DNS settings, will depend on where you purchased your domain (Domain Registrar). This will likely be:

GoDaddy.com
NameCheap.com
1and1.com

We are going to explain how to update your DNS within all of these system in the upcoming pages, so choose according to where you bought your domain.

It would probably make good sense to include your WA promotions with the site you already have, providing your content is appropriate to WA. You could do a completely separate site, but you might be making extra work, for no real advantage.
Perhaps others might offer a view?

I had the same problem a few days ago. I went to site support, and they suggested I go into my privacy/security settings and delete the personal email on file then re-enter it. They said a new verification would be sent.

I haven't received the new verification request yet, but I will update when I do!

Hi everyone, seems I always need help.Still trying to get my domain up.
Now I am getting the notice saying 'to complete domain registration click on link in email sent by ICANN'
Did not receive the email, not in trash or spam either.

Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey Kyle. I did all of this 2 days ago, and my site is still down. The only difference I see is when I submit my DNS changes, it puts ns2 in primary, and ns1 in secondary. But WebHostingHub told me that shouldn't matter. Any ideas why my site would still not be showing up? Thanks in advance

Where did you purchase your domain from Kevin? Was it the WebHostingHub you mentioned? I think it is important to have them in the right order. It is at Godaddy.

Hey MsMerry, thanks for your reply! Yes, it was WebHostingHub where I purchased it. I have tried changing it several times, and each time I do and click 'submit', it reverts back to the way it is set now. So, I chatted with them and they said it wouldn't matter. I can ask them to try and make it stick the correct way so to speak.

I would as that seems to be the only thing causing the problem. I use GoDaddy and it is so easy. Sorry, you are having a problem.

I contacted support again. They were able to flip it. So I'll give it some time, and hopefully that works. Thanks for your help! :)

Hey everyone. I was hoping to receive a little help. I have received emails stating that my DNS has not been set up however I thought I did set this up.

From Domain.com, I have changed the nameservers to:
nameserver 1: ns1.mywahosting.com
nameserver 2: ns2.mywahosting.com

I'm not sure what else is supposed to be done. I appreciate any advice I can get.
