OK, awesome. You now have your target audience, in other words, the direction for your brand chosen. That is great and don't worry about this not being "perfect" at this point, as you move forward the pieces of the puzzle are going to come together.

Starting with a big PIECE today, your website. We are going to be taking our brand/audience idea and building out a website.

Building a Website Ain't Scary, It's FUN!

Building a website sounds like a "scary" process, but fortunately you have access to the most advanced, yet simplistic website platform in the world here at Wealthy Affiliate.

We pride ourselves as a technology company here at Wealthy Affiliate and we are the industry leaders in the website development space.

I am not going to toot our horn any longer, I would rather you experience the website builder and platform for itself. The first step today is going to be building your website, which will literally take you less than 30 seconds.

Click the SiteBuilder link within the menu, and you are going to be ready to build your website (and complete the next task).

Below I have included a video walking you through the Website platform here at WA and showing you how quickly and efficiently you can build a website here at Wealthy Affiliate,

Task 1: Building Your Website

Your website is your foundation of your business. It is where all of your traffic is ultimately going to come to, where you are going to build brand and trust within the industry, and where you can promote products/services and generate revenue!

The SiteBuilder platform here at WA is the most simplistic, yet advanced in the industry. It is going to less than 30 seconds to get a full operational, profit ready Wordpress website up and running online.

You can access the SiteBuilder from the main Websites menu here at WA.

There are 4 steps in the website build process, that I am going to walk you through here. To access the SiteBuilder and EVERYTHING related to your website, you will simply click the light blue "SiteRubix" button in the main menu.

Step 1: Choose the Kind of Website

There are really TWO options here, on a FREE website or on your OWN domain. Ideally, you will have your own domain, but that can come with time.

You can "register" your very own domains right within Wealthy Affiliate using our state of the art SiteDomains platform, which will allow you to instantly set-up your own domain for your own use.

If you are just starting out as a Starter member, you will be building a website on the .siterubix.com domain, which is a completely free website. You can build ONE FREE websites as a Starter.

As a Premium member, you can build and host up to 10 websites (including websites on your own domain). That is more than adequate to drive many multi-million dollar businesses over time and our hosting platform is industry leading in terms of speed, security, and reliability...all critical factors to running a successful online business.

For the sake of this training, we are going to be choosing "On a free domain".

Do know that within the Premium membership, you can easily MOVE a free .siterubix.com button to a registered domain (one you may own) using the "Premium Only" MOVE feature. So by all means start off with a free website.

Step 2: Choose a Domain

Remember last lesson when I chose my "brand". In this step, I am going to be placing my brand name into the "domain name" field. This is because this will be my website URL and my brand moving forward.

As you can see below, I have added my brand "Marketing With Kyle" into the domain field.

When you type in your domain, it will let you know if it is available or not. In my case it was, but if your first choice is not available simply do another search until you find a domain name that works for you.

You cannot put spaces in your domain name, hence why my domain is "marketingwithkyle".

Step 3: Choose a Website Name

The name of your website should match your domain, but it just needs to be grammatically correct (with proper spacing). You can see below my example of this:

Domain: marketingwithkyle.siterubix.com
Title: Marketing With Kyle

It is as simple as that. Don't overthink this step, your title will be the same as your domain.

Step 4: Choose a Design

The last step is choosing a "look" for your theme. As a Starter member you will have access to ONE theme that has been hand picked for quality, speed, security, and overall theme design.

As a Premium Member though you will have access to over 4,134 designs (as shown below) or your website and there are always new designs being added to this daily. These are referred to as "Themes".

Choose a design that you like.

Click on the design you like, and then you will be able to build your site.

SiteRubix, a Next Level Website and Hosting Platform.

You are going to notice that there are many other website features allocated within the SiteRubix menu. I don't want to eat up too much of your time here, but it is important that you understand the incredible benefits of the SiteRubix platform.

I am a bit indecisive on my niche, I run a couple of affiliates from Cryptocurrency to medical supplies and children's educational toys. I am also busy with an online adult shop which hasn't really got off the ground yet, but because my girlfriend is an exotic dancer, I have plenty of contacts in the adult market. Would that be a good niche to start with as I know its not easy to market and I'm honestly not sure how to go about it. I am affiliated to Matilda's and Lovesense at the moment.

Hi - first of all, you are currently in the Boot Camp training. This is for people who want their website to be based on the make money online niche and promoting WA. For all other niches, click the link below.

As regards an adult website, there are some restrictions here. There must be no nudity or pornographic material. Sex toys etc are ok as long as the images are not explicit.

Hi Diane, just a stupid question LOL.

How do you know who is in the BootCamp and who is in the OEC?

Is this a feature only available to Ambassadors?

Just curious haha

Hi There,
Yes I am aware of that, I am definitely going the WA route first as I think it is a strong start in AM. But I want to do this for the future and I needed some advice on it.

Hi - so, you have chosen to remain in the Boot Camp training and will be using make money online as your niche. This is very competitive, and you may potentially have to write hundreds of articles on the subject before you see any great success.

Unless you are genuinely interested in it, you may struggle to keep coming up with different topics to write about 2 or 3 times per week for years to come.

Hi Diane,
Ok so do you suggest I rather do my own niche? I can do that too as I have a couple of affiliates I am with, just need to learn how to make them work for me. Bootcamp was just one of the ways, I can continue with my own if you think its better to do. How then do I get out of bootcamp?

Hi - well, it's entirely your choice, of course. I just wanted you to be aware that it takes a huge amount of effort to be successful in the Boot Camp. In fact, you may be interested to know that the most successful female member here (littlemama) didn't really start making a lot of money until she had written over 400 posts!

Here is the link to the other training course.

Thank you so much for the advice, I am a paramedic, so this is like a side income that I'm doing, so its possibly going to be better to have a look at one of my own niches. any advice on a cryotcurrency platform niche?

Hi - if crypto is a subject you have knowledge and experience of, and would enjoy writing about, then yes, it would be a popular niche.

I would like to see these accomplishments written and included in the Online Entrepreneur Certification Lessons so that newcomers can see timeframes and get inspired to keep on with the lessons...dont like them (the timeframes given) only appearing in Affiliate bootcamp because when your just starting out a lot of new people might get turned off by the depth of the lessons here and the hard work involved to fully understand it....so they need to be also included in Online Certification Lessons.

Everybody earns money at a different rate, so it really depends on the person. I have actually created a discussion on this that will put things into perspective for you here: Have a read of that, I know it will give you a lot of insight into this exact topic. ;)

The first month is typically your foundation building stage. In order to build a website that earns you consistent revenue, you need this foundation. After this, you are going to start seeing traffic and as you build this out, there are many different ways in which you can generate revenue.

Personally it took me into my 3rd month of busting my butt to make my first dollar online, by month 6 though I was making consistent income and by the year mark, I was almost full time.

But guess what would have happened if I quit during those first two "trying" months. I would not be where I am at today. Just wanted to put things into perspective for you.

I am in this journey with you, so is the community here at WA. If you want to jump in, work hard, take action, and persist. Amazing things can and will happen!

I know it's mention the SEO setup is not rock science. But the training video is way different then the general settings in the All in One SEO tab. You have to go through a setup Wizard; which I know I did incorrect. If anyone can provide help can you let me know?

Thanks in advance

A picture is just a figment of ones imagination! There are endless possibilities as long as you follow just three simple rules.
1. You make just one person believe your vision, there are endless possibilities!
2. Remember success is not measured by work ethic or dollar amount! You can't put a price on motivation, dedication, & education.
3. Never accept Failure
Always Strive for Success!
