Like other affiliate programs, VigLink has thousands of merchants that search for advertising sites.

As Commission Junction or ShareASale, Viglink is also an affiliate program, but it works on a slightly different principle.

As affiliate marketers, we recommend products to visitors of our site. We write reviews, add pictures and affiliate links. If a person buys a product through our relationship, we will get a commission. So far, we've all learned it :)

What's different with Viglink is that this application itself in your post content finds words and convert it in true affiliate links that generate revenue. If someone clicks on this link and buys a specific product, you get a commission. Best of all, you do not have to be signed up for an affiliate account on all networks.

It's enough that you are logged in to VigLink.

For example, if you have a fitness blog and write about Fit Smartwatches, VigLink will automatically convert these words ( Smartwatches) into affiliate links. When you do not make money for such words, at Viglink you will make money whenever someone buys an application or Smartwatch.

One of the Merchandisers on VigLink is Amazon.

So, Viglink is a great option if for some reason you are not Amazon affiliate. Whether the Amazon does not support your country or for some other reason that you do not have a license for the Amazon program, through Viglink you will also receive a commission for Amazon products!

If you want to use VigLink as another monetization program for your site, this is my link: viglink.com

Thanks Jelena for this tutorial.
I did look at Vigilink about a year ago but didn't go with it.
I wasn't too keen about them having control over my affiliate links.
However, Vigilink is still an option and if I do decide to give it a try I will be in touch. I'm bookmarking this training.

Glad to hear that Viglink is working well for you. Oliver and his team there are good people.

I do need to correct one item - Viglink is NOT an affiliate network like CJ, ShareASale or http://Awin.com. Instead they are a solution provider primarily for content sites such as yours. They belong to most affiliate programs on most networks, but some merchants do not work with them. They will match the best source for whatever item you mention based on the keyword; if they can't find that item they'll offer something else. It can be an easy way to match the right merchant to a post for sure.

Viglink makes their money by taking a tiny piece of every commission earned by using their service. Therefore I do recommend that if you are making a lot of sales via a specific merchant, swap out the Viglinks to that merchant directly and earn the full amount.

What tiny piece? What is the percentage?

I believe they take 25% of your commission. So if the commission was $1.00, you get 75 cents, they get 25 cents.
