The Rapid Writer tool in Wealthy Affiliate, is a bit like a mini Wordpress platform but with an additional tool to calculate keyword density.

The writer tool was originally designed to encourage members to submit blogs to the WA owned article platform, called street articles. This was in the days when article writing was a standard SEO tactic to increase exposure and gain backlinks and a following.

Times have changed though and very few people write articles anymore - but that doesn't mean the Rapid Writer no longer has a function, it just needs to be adapted slightly (perhaps).

This tutorial looks at how it can be used in an era where social media, mini blogging and forum blogging are now the preferred routes for gaining a following and sharing ideas.

Because I am a writer/blogger, and haven't understood 'til now what to do with this tool. And now you have shown us how to re-purpose Rapid Writer:)!

Hi Tim, I must confess I haven't really used it too much either but I think it has potential just needs to be re-marketed perhaps? It seems a shame not to use it.

Thank you for the lesson. My days of writing are over. But even though I've heard that anyone can write and become a writer I still have to disagree. Even with the right tools and training it is not for everyone. Yet every little thing offered here at WA to help members in this endeavor is helpful.

Hi Rick I agree I know there are a lot of people that find the writing part hard, and that was why I thought it's such a shame that rapid writer has been sidelined really, because it does have the potential to support some writers.

Thanks for sharing and dropping by, Marie
