This video shows you how to setup the basic configurations for the Blog2Social wordpress plugin.

The video shows how to configure for facebook, instagram, pinterest and twitter, but it does have many other social networks that can be setup as well.

This plugin makes it very very easy for anyone to share their blog posts across multiple social networks, with a simple click of the button.

Excellent tutorial Maria. Very easy to follow. I think will try it out. I like that it gives you a calendar to show what you had already done and that it posts to all the social media all at once. That will cut my time sharing. More time to do something else.

Thank you. 🙂

You are most welcome Kelyee, There's many other features the plugin provides, but I am trying to keep my videos on the free versions since many people do not need all those bells and whistles. The free version of this plugin offers so many features, that it still amazes me.

Yeah, I only needed the free version as well. The others don't have the share all at once feature and I don't want to share it 5 times. It's so repetitive. Just top of your head do you know if it's a light or heavy program that might slow down my website?

If not I'll do more research on it. But thanks for sharing. 🙂

Kelyee, I have been testing these plugins on one particular site that has about 22 plugins total (NOT hosted here) and this one, I do suspect it does slow down your site a very tiny bit WHEN you are sharing.

During those 2 or 3 minutes after you hit the share button, there is a a hiccup as it works to post for you, but it doesn't slow it for long and not enough to cause any concern. At least not for me.

The site I test them on also has jetpack to help me monitor, and that plugin by itself is bit of a hog. If you have few plugins, you should not have to worry about it at all.

I had an issue last night adding my IG account. I watched your video did exactly what you did. Even got a pin number to confirm my site. Didn't go through. I tried deleting it but there was no delete button. I continued on to the other social medias, they're all confirmed.

After 5 minutes of aggravation, I refreshed my screen and a window popped up saying I didn't finish setting up or incomplete, something to that matter and voila the delete button showed up.

I retried the process again and it went through, happy camper. 🙃 I would call that a glitch or user error. 😁

Thought I share my experience. Have a productive day!

Kelyee, If you use the Chrome browser, then that will happen. Sometimes even hard refreshes will not take. It's annoying sometimes, but me, I'd rather have a minor annoyance such as that over the annoyances of slow browsers because they load so much junk in the background when you try using them.

Thank you Chris, I think I will make a video next week that shows how I have my "affiliate" information automatically added to my content as I create it. There's 2 main plugins I have used for some time that makes this a breeze too.

Looking forward to that Maria.

You are most welcome, & Thank you Jeffrey, This is the last of the social marketing videos I plan to a video for, with the three I have added one can provide share this, follow me and share posts.

I don't think there's anything left, or if there is, I am clueless about it.

These were very essential, and I think you might have covered the three major ones, Maria!

Thanks again Jeffrey, after researching the steps one should "follow" when marketing socially, I do believe there is nothing missed. Now I do intend to focus more on increasing my followers, that seems to be the most difficult task of social marketing to accomplish.

That's strange--to me, it would seem like the easiest! Why, in your opinion, is it not?

Great post - uploaded this plugin over the weekend. Using the free version - have the same question as @MRRSP concerning the message about deactivation of All in SEO Social Meta settings.

Hi Steve, it doesn't seem to mind if you ignore it. I do not like changing anything with All In One SEO, so I just left it as is and it doesn't seem to have caused any sort of issues with All in one or blog2social. It's just annoying a tad bit.

Hey Maria, I have a quick question. I downloaded and installed the plugin. I'm getting this message: "You currently have both Blog2Social Social Meta Tags and All in One SEO Pack plugins active. To make sure that your Social Meta Tags are set correctly, please deactivate All in One Seo Social Meta settings. If they are already deactivated, you can ignore this message."

What do I do?

I get that error too, I ignore it, it doesn't seem to cause trouble. I don't want to change my All-in-one configurations. I think that message is because blog2social also has some meta configurations. I rather use all in one seo for meta information, and blog2social for the sharing only.

I have the same question also - I've been ignoring the message and doesn't seem to have affected the performance of the free version. Look forward to hearing @MariaDale response.

Awesome! Thanks so much ☺️

I'm with you on that, I don't want to change the all-in-one settings either. I will just ignore it too! Thanks for getting back to me so fast!

Great! Thanks for chiming in. I really didn't want to change my all-in-one settings. Good to know we can ignore it and carry on ☺️

I probably should have clarified that in the video, I have gotten used to the message so I didn't even think it would cause concern. It did cause me concern when I first saw it when I first tried the plugin, but after determining that All In One SEO was most important, I didn't do anything about it.
