Okay, for this example, let's say that you are having issues with a WordPress theme you’ve just installed. And, say, you want to lessen the white space above the header of your posts and pages.
Using a search engine is THE best ... and quickest way to find what you want for whatever purpose you may need ... be it using software like Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, or simply wanting to tweak your website!
Let's use Google for this example, as the majority of us use this search engine when conducting searches on the internet ... and let's start typing in what it is we want help with.
Well, look at that will you (see image below)!
Obviously, others have been querying the very same issues. So hopefully, you will be able to find a resolve.
So ... let’s just click on the first option because that is what we are searching for, and examine what gets offered in our search result (see image below).
Wow, 10 posts about this issue on page 1 alone! Now your work begins.
First, if possible, keep this search result open while you open your website in another (separate) session of your preferred browser, and get ready to test.
In order to decide what option to select, be sure to read thoroughly the entire conversation that took place on EACH and EVERY forum linked to this search result, and THEN try what you clearly see has been the working resolve.
TIP: Remember, if you have a cache plugin installed, you will need to delete your website's cache (NO, not the plugin itself, the cache that the plugin created!). Then you can check to see if the fix worked or not.
If the first resolution doesn’t work, keep going through EACH post until you find a resolve that does work. Most times there is at least one fix available.
Okay, so you claim you’ve done all of this and you STILL cannot find a resolve ... that’s when you can use the benefit of the community here at WA to ask for help. That is what we are all here for ... to help each other out.
Now for even more help finding what YOU need...
