Hey guys,

I want to show you the power of using sales funnels and how you could possibly use them with your blog/website. There is a time and place for them, it's just about knowing when and why you're using them.

NOTES: The one thing I wanted to add is to think about where your audience is congregrating outside of organic SEO like social media. Where can you get in front of your audience and funnel them into your funnel or into your website and then inside of your funnel? Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions.

Talk to you soon,

Michael

Awesome video! I am a firm believer in funnels also. I don't use clickfunnels I just use wordpress. So yes, my question would be if I am trying to promote WA as an affiliate, what would be my angle and what assets would I use? (squeeze page and bridge page). I plan to make videos as training also once i get to the end of 3 months..this is good stuff and would like to see more content like this. Thanks again!

Hey Beau, glad you found my video useful! Yeah, funnels are incredible when you use them right.

There are tons of angles, I actually made a whole separate video of this on YoUTube, but you still have all old methods like forum marketing, A blog, YouTube, Fb groups and then some that still work well, it’s just organic reach has slowed down a bit since. You have to factor into the equation that to go from people to purchase, in the middle of it is trust.

You have to build trust like 110%, especially now a days it’s a MUST. I think “the money is in the list”(email)...as they say, but you have to also take a network mentality. It’s not “build it and they will come”, you rather have to go out there and build yourself an audience, network on social media because that’s where all the attention is going.

Facebook groups are great to have, going into other Facebook groups and providing value, helping people solve their problems, questions, roadblocks, and results they want. In one way or another, getting their email should be the result in most of our minds.

One key difference is educating people on the “free before you buy”...so you can make some sort of video where you focus on what they’re getting for free and the features, benefits, and meaning of it. Plus, quizzes/surveys work well, giving away a freebie(mini courses), and so forth. As far as your “who”...

Have a done picture of your ideal avatar, and think about who could really benefit from using WA. Would you always go after a colder market of people who haven’t started or ones who have a blog up and running but don’t have the right way to get it done? The ladder. But it’s different across all boards. Focus on your copy.

Both work, a squeeze page captures an email, and you can have a bridge page after. It’s a squeeze page(optin) vs a reverse squeeze page actually where you can collect the email if you’re giving away bonuses first and then redirect them to WA. With standard squeeze pages
you get more options but it doesn’t necessarily mean quality leads, and bridge pages(or also known as reverse squeeze pages) might be a lower optin rate but higher quality leads. Hope that helped.

Hey Michael,

Thanks for the tips!

Yes, that's a great idea. I'm thinking maybe a free membership so it does't "feel" like a traditional squeeze page where they give u a fake email..lol. The membership site basically transfers their email once they sign up and they won't get that freebie unless the email is a good one.

I started playing around with canva and created some infographics to hopefully use on pinterest and drive traffic that way. Yes, I want to use more social media platforms, but I'd like to build a case study to maye either sell or giveaway for more subscribers..Just throwing things up on the wall so to speak and see what sticks...we'll see what sticks, but I really like your stuff man..wish the best for you and look forward for more content.

You are the first person who really hasn't slammed clickfunnels down my throat and I like the fact that you use WA to build niche websites also in combination with clickfunnels. I think this is the best of both worlds, and is what I am trying to do now using WP as my page builder.

Agreed, I believe you have to be pro-active and be in the spaces where potential prospects are if your doing social media traffic. I tried solo ads but I didn't do so well on those, so its an area that I need to improve on. Of course, I have to put aside the cash to pay for this and then track it to see how good it works..

But social media I agree you gotta go get it, so that's a confirmation for me that you said the same thing.

I know you're probably in the same niche as I am so I didn't expect to see your affiliate funnel for WA..lol..I totally understand!

Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing more content by you.

Beau

P.S. Can you really sell mini courses when go past the 3rd month? Man, I think your content is needed in this site b/c I see no one pushing funnels with niche blogs..its really an awesome topic and I hope you start putting more stuff out on this topic.

I usually like to make the most "sexiest" offer or thing I usually would charge, for free - that can be your lead magnet. Courses work well, blueprints, guides, etc. It really is about who you're targeting as well, know your demographics but psychographics even better.

And I usually don't do double optins, meaning, I turn off a double confirmation page. The first one is enough, and the rest of my sequence can help to qualify and filter those who are serious.

Yes, case studies/testimonials are important and can help you build momentum and improve the effectiveness of your sales message and copy, but what most people think is Proof. They go "Okay, sounds good. But why should I believe you? Will it work for me? Has it worked for others? will it work for me?"

Ideally, Results testimonials are the ones you want. The other is about the company, celebrity endorsements, and one of my favorites always, statistics. The fastest way to get testimonials is to hand out something to different people and ask for a testimonial.

Don't let a "lack of" stop you. Pinterest works well, just make your pins long-form and with bright colors. Yeah, social media can work very well, you just need to know how to utilize it best with all it's different features and ways of communicating.

I mean, yes and no. I didn't do my own until some years later, but I could have gotten started earlier. One thing I tell everyone is to document your journey, what works in your niche, what doesn't. For example:

If you're in the MMO space, document day-by-day what you've learned and you can bundle that. Also, when you get a niche site going, you can do the same. And then later on you can bundle your results with it.
