Now you know about Pinterest and what it is, but if you have no followers not very many people are going to see any of your products, let a lone stand a chance to make it to your website. So How do we grow Pinterest profiles? There are many ways people will tell you works... And they might! All I can tell you is what i have been doing personally to grow my own profile pretty regularly and its worked for a few of my clients that i also helped.

So if your just starting off with Pinterest then your profile prob looks pretty blank. Make 5-10 new boards and then add 5-10 pins within those boards, make sure to take advantage of linking those pins to a relevant and useful place for visitors to go. Don't forget that you can add a short description to your pins, this is a great way to add in a captivating headline or strike some curiosity in the the viewer to make clicking your pin unrisitable! You can also take advantage of Hashtags in your descriptions of your pins so that others can find them easily in the search bar.Just make sure your keywords are in there to.

Once you have filled in your profile with some useful linking images, Now is the time to start building your following! The first stage of building your following is going to be doing a Follow / Unfollow campaign. This is where you search and follow relevant people in your industry / niche.

I have found that you can safely follow about 120 people a day, once you've followed your fill for the day give them about 3-5 days to follow you back.

The next step in this process is to go through your followers and following and unfollow anyone who has had ample amount of time to follow you back but has not done so.

Keep repeating this process on a weekly basis and you'll be getting followers by the 10s, 50s. and sometimes 100s!

Thanks Nekko. I've been receiving emails from Pinterest for years now. But I never really knew what it was about or how it worked. Thank you for your informative lesson. Now I'll be able to add Pinterest to my list of social media links. Jim
