It is good, if other pages/posts concentrate on less competitive terms.
For example, one page could be about affordability and another one is maybe information.
In these pages/posts use a variety of synonyms. (words that read differently but have the same meaning) This will increase the pages/posts relevance in search engine eyes.
Remember just, I used the example of affordable? Well you can use the word economical instead. It means the same yet is a completely different word and search engines are getting smarter and pick this up as a signal of relevance.
Another thing that search engines like, is comparison pages/posts. So if you have 2 similar products, then review each of them whilst comparing them.
Remember to use your grouped keywords/synonyms in the pages/posts.
YES, you should target only one keyword, make one your focus, but sprinkle a few others and synonyms of, that you have already done a page/post on.
Always be checking that your keyword is a unique on of yours and does not conflict with any of your other keywords (important)
If your niche allows for it, then having an FAQ section is never a bad idea.
You can answer the question there but it is much better to link to a page/post of yours that answers that query. Often time keywords represent a users question.
SO, in short, a keyword map is just a document that outlines the selected keywords for your site pages/posts.
I know this post is basic but it should give you a clearer understanding of how to use keywords, and a direction you need to take.
