Keyword Mapping
Create a page/Post that focuses around a particular keyword.
Think about which keywords relate to a single topic. (Very important)
Write the keyword down ( spread-sheet or such like) for later reference as you do not want to duplicate it. (Also very important)
USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS TO TRACK YOUR PAGES/POSTS PERFORMANCE.
Whilst in analytics, look at organic visitors to see.
Whilst it is possible that you are not receiving traffic for these exact terms, you should receive traffic from similar phrases that are on your site - SEMANTICS
Look into the engagement levels to determine how well that page/post is meeting the needs of your visitors.
REMEMBER THIS - Optimizing pages is not about trying to trick Google into ranking you any higher! No, it is about how well you are matching you post/page to meet with the users intent. Whether that be giving information or selling a product.
After all, the goal of a well optimized page is to help the search engine better understand the page/post so if it is done well, then naturally it will rank much higher.
ie (Which pages from your site are most relevant to a search query.)
In time, it well help your sites architecture as it will help you see how each page/post is related to one another.
