I hope this helps someone. I know I found it excellent when I was trying to decrease the size of my images.
There are other programs available to scale images but this is the one I use and it suits me.

Yes, I use Tiny PNG and it seems to work well. But I was wondering if you use one of these programs, do you still need the EWW plugin image optimizer we have?

I don't know if it is absolutely necessary but I use GIMP and then WP Smush to reduce even further.
