Hey there!

Here's the last video of my 3 part series on how you can create video training for Wealthy Affiliate or your own websites. I apologize for the delay which you can read more about on my WA blog below:

If you have reached this page trying to learn how to screencast or record your device screen, click here:

Preparing to Upload Your Video

Before you upload your video, ALWAYS double check it. You might think for errors but that's not it.

Always make sure that your video doesn't contain any personal information that you don't want others to see. Sometimes you may get so used to seeing something that while editing, your brain misses it because it skips over it.

Like writing, taking a break and coming back is like hitting the refresh button. You'd be surprised what you pick up.

I always chuckle at myself as I often hear myself misspeak something, lol. If you do find something, just go back and edit it or blur it out and re-render the video :)

Uploading Your Video To Wealthy Affiliate

For whatever reason, uploading a video to Wealthy Affiliate is a LOT faster than uploading your video to YouTube.

In order to upload your video to Wealthy Affiliate, click on the pen icon that is just left of your Rank icon. Choose the 'Create New Training' option.

When you do, a popup will appear where you choose the type of training that you want to do. In this case, we are going to do a video training so click on the icon with 'Video' above it.

The first thing I do is start the video uploading. Since you have to wait for it, it makes sense to fill out the rest of the fields while it is uploading to save time.

If you are targeting any specific keywords or search terms, make sure that they are in the title and tags. Remember that anything you create here at Wealthy Affiliate can also be ranked in Google! :)

Fill in the title and tags. Keep in mind that you can only use up to 5 tags.

Once the video has completed uploading you will see the screen changes to a big completed, confirmation box. At this point you will hit the 'Continue' button in the bottom right hand corner of the popup.

The next screen is where you write all relevant information about the video. You don't have to sound 'professional' or like an expert. Just write like you normally do, as if you are talking to the person reading and watching your video.

Once you have proofread the information, click on the 'Publish' button.

Notice that if you have to go afk for w/e reason, there is also a 'Save' button so that you can complete the training at another time.

Uploading Your Video To YouTube

Uploading your video to YouTube is straightforward. When you get to your account, click the up arrow.

This will bring you to the screen where you will upload your video. Click on the giant arrow image, select your file and upload your video.

In the video I mentioned a tool that you can use to do YouTube keyword research. It is called VidIQ. You can get the Chrome extension from the Chrome extension store by Googling it.

I use the free version because I'd rather rank my videos for Google search but your specific strategies are up to you.

The most important part about setting up your YouTube video SEO is to make sure that your keyword is present in your title, description and tags. Be natural like any of your other writing.

And that's it! Now you know how to complete your own video training from screen capturing to publishing them on the internet. I hope these videos have helped.

I'll be doing one more written training to consolidate and organize all of this information.

If you have any questions, tips or other feedback, please leave them in the comments box below.

See you next time :)

When I publish WA training videos it looks like it goes through but a minute later I get an email saying "Oops, your training video failed to be processed". What am I doing wrong?

The file might be too large. If it is you have to downgrade the quality. I recommend that you contact support about this to be sure :)
