The WordPress Media Library does not just store image files. You can also store documents. The following file types are known to be acceptable:

• pdf - Adobe Portable Document Format
• psd - Adobe Photoshop
• doc/docx - Microsoft Word
• ppt/pptx/pps/ppsx - Microsoft PowerPoint
• xls/xlsx - Microsoft Excel
• odt - Open Document

This list is not exhaustive. I have tested pdf, docx and xlsx, and these all work.

Some audio and video files can also be uploaded.

If you do upload video files keep them short. You don't what to kill your bandwidth at Wealthy Affiliate! Host your videos on Youtube or Amazon.
