You're welcome, Sharlee. Can you send me some virtual icecream for Christmas? It's going to be a hot one here in Adelaide.

Hi Marion

[naughty grin] You won't believe this, Marion.... I was JUST busy wrapping a virtual bow around your virtual tub of virtual ice cream... ;-) [wink] Sending it off to you now! ;-) LOL!

What is your favorite flavor, by the way?

Yes, it looks like summer has finally arrived here in our corner of paradise as well. ;-)

Salted caramel is rather yum, don't you think?

[wipe forehead with a naughty grin, wink-wink] Whew, that is EXACTLY the flavor that I've send - salted caramel - so happy to know that it is your favorite, Marion! ;-) LOL! It will arrive soon, by virtual couriers. ;-) Just add a bit of imagination and you'll have a wonderful treat. ;-) LOL!
Have happy day, Marion!

How do you mean to 'Verify' a site? Verify for what, please, Marion?

Some programs like Alexa and Google have an alternate verification method where they give you a file with a code to add to your server. You tell them where you have it located and they fetch the file to verify domain ownership.

Lots of companies require you to verify ownership of your website including Google, Yahoo, Bing, Pinterest and some affiliate companies.

For a moment I had my wires crossed, but I had verified my sites already. Thank you, Marion 😁

Hi James,
To Verify your site means to prove to Google that you own or have the right to make changes to your website. It prevents other people from claiming your website as their own.

Hi, Reymott...that's brilliant. Many thanks for coming back to my question 😊

Extremely handy, Marion. Didn't know could be done with Pinterest as well. Thanks.

What I like about this method is that it's permanent and doesn't rely on an SEO plugin staying active.
