Keywords are the premise of ALL the content you are going to be creating on your website, and as you build out "keyword targeted" content, you are going to start to see rankings in Google and other search engines. This is what leads to traffic and success.

In this video I am going to be walking you through the process of researching and finding keywords for your target audience, right from the idea development stage. Here are just some of the things I cover within this training:

  • How to use Google to find UNLIMITED keywords
  • Using sites like ehow.com and answers.yahoo.com for ideas
  • How to use Jaaxy.com for your keyword research
  • Narrowing down your ideas to find much more targeted keywords
  • What specific criteria to look for when doing keyword research
  • And much more.

If you have any questions about keywords or any of the material covered in this video, please leave your questions or comments below and I will be happy to help you out.

So if a keyword has low traffic, doesn't that also mean that not a lot of people are interested in it and therefor your $ opportunities are lower as well?

That was an awesome presentation Kyle. I now feel more confident to proceed. The first time I listened to the video, I didn't quite get it, but today it made more sense.
Thanks once again Kyle.

That was a great presentation. This probably got addressed but I think I missed it. Do people normally use more than one address with different key words to drive customers to the same site or is this not permitted?

Until now I never even thought of keywords being what they are. Just that when I typed in a word or phrase I found what I was looking for. Now that I know, it makes sense.

Thanks

I enjoyed the video so much! It does so much to help me understand how searches happen in Google. The video doesn't say where key words are best used. Should they be in the titles of our posts, or can they be anywhere in any post? Thank you in advance! I know someone knows.

I remember another video I saw at WA a while ago. (I took some notes, that's why I 'remember' it. I really do hope this is right!)
* Put your keywords in the title
* and in the first paragraph
* After that write naturally. You can use the keyword again

So don't focus on your keywords after the title and the first paragraph.

(But of course I think we should not use the keywords too many times - that would be spamming)

LOVE THE VIDEO HAD A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS HOW MANY KEYWORDS CAN YOU ADD & IS IT JUST WORDS OR PHRASES?

Kyle recommends targeting only one keyword per post. A keyword can be any number of words as long as it makes sense.

Exactly as Lauren stated.

Each page or post on your website should have ONE keyword focal point. Keywords are what lead to rankings and what lead to traffic. So when you are looking to come up with an idea for a new post, do some keyword research and find a phrase that is related to your niche.

As you build out your content and start getting rankings under these terms, you will see your traffic (and revenue) cumulatively grow. Just know that not every page will rank, but over time a good percentage will. The game of numbers!

I just found some (5) relevant keywords with QSR of 0 or 2. Almost no competition. The traffic numbers are not high but that does not matter with 0 competition right?
