Activity Screen on PayPal

The activity screen is a way to filter all of your recent activities that has occurred on PayPal.

You have the option to see what is active or archived or both by clicking on the Active link.

You can select All transactions or click on the drop-down menu to specify a certain type of transaction.

If you dealing with multiple currencies, you can click on the All currencies button and select the one for which you which to see. If you just have the US dollar currency open, you will only see the following.

If you have more than one currency, such as the US dollar and Euro, you will see this for example:

It may be useful to have more than one currency account open, so you can accept payments from people in other countries. You never know who may be visiting your website and wanting to do business with you, so having more than one currency is useful.

For Business Accounts

If you have a business account, you will see more options on this screen than if you just have a personal account. For instance, you will be able to search and filter your activity view by different IDs, such as Store IDs, Profile IDs, Transaction IDs, etc. This area and feature will be more useful to those of you who have an online shopping cart on your website and I know many of you do.

You also have the option to Download the activity, by clicking on the Download link.

Personally, I only created a tutorial for Canadian residents how to work around the hefty 2.5% PayPal conversion rate - But you provide a whole structure/description of how PayPal works in general.

Great job, Steph!
