Your profile is the first thing people see, so it’s important to take your time to set it up right and make it stand out.
Fill in your name (or pen name or business name if you’re using that)
Add a good profile pic. You can always update that later.
Here's a screenshot. My Twitter is in Spanish, since I live in Mexico, but basically it is asking for my name, birthdate, and my website. It's pretty cool that it allows you to feature your website on your profile.
In "biografia" or description, write a short intro about yourself. You can add your interests, things that relate to your products, and even add topics with hashtags, so people can find you more easily.
"Ubicación" means location.
Provide a good background photo. There you could display your logo for example, a screenshot of your website, your products, or photos that indicate what your business is about. I am an author, so I created a collage of books I published. I'm just showing a small part of in the screenshot.
I actually need to update that background photo, it is really old ... ;-)
This blog is a God-sent to my inner dreams.
For a long time I have been, not only curious, but really wanting to open a Twitter account, and I actually attempted. But I could not follow. I could not understand what benefits there are to have twitter account.
I will come to you one day soon, and be your student, if that is OK with you. I will follow the steps you mentioned here but when I get stuck, I will have to bother you...
Thank you very much for this valuable tutorial.
God bless you more,
Chuna
Along with Pinterest, these are two areas I will be moving into over the next few months.
I have bookmarked for when I begin in earnest.
I certainly didn't realise there was so much you could do with it. Awesome and thank you again.
