If you follow a lot of people on Twitter, your news feeds are going to be very active. Because I follow back all of my followers, I see updates from thousands of people, which makes it impossible to see everything or to keep track of people and businesses whose tweets I enjoy most.

Because of this, there are several Twitter tools available to help with monitoring. The one I like most is TweetDeck, which is free and can be downloaded at http://tweetdeck.com. TweetDeck displays columns where you can create lists to better monitor Twitter activity.
