I know, long story for such a short moral to it but here's the point:
People psych themselves out when they pay attention to what they need to get done instead of keeping a constant eye on what they have accomplished. By simply facing my most recent success instead of the ones I had not achieved, I accomplished triple the work. Keep an eye on your successes, no matter how small, and keep a constant intent on what you have to do... You will psych yourself into success.
Side NOTE: Look forward while you are moving from your most recent success to the next one. I walked off of a second floor once while building because I didn't look forward now and then - it hurts when you walk backwards right off a second story! I wouldn't recommend it.
How this fits into WA, I think, is very important. The training here takes you on small steps, sometimes in a couple of directions, all aiming at an ultimate goal. That ultimate goal is success in internet marketing and it has been proven many times over to be effective.
But building your first site can be quite a daunting task I found. There is also an extremely large amount of knowledge, training and resources to take in, process and apply. The beauty of the WA training is that it takes these all one step at a time and even provides successful people that are extremely knowledgeable and helpful to help guide you along your way. However, people can get discouraged when they realize how much work it may be and when they realize that the results from that work might take even longer. The steps at WA, it seems, are designed for somebody to be able to take on building an online business by achieving small successes one at a time.
When someone builds a house they start by looking at the property it's going to be on and planning accordingly. It's very exciting to stand in a vacant field and think of what the house will look like when it's sitting there. However, even by the time the hole is dug for a foundation, it can be easy to lose hope when one realizes how much work it very well may be. I found that building a web business can be just as discouraging if your sights are in the "wrong direction".

You are my kind of storyteller! Love the analogy of home building compared to the Online Business building project. I have thought of that many times as I have built a house before from the ground up! The only two working on the project was my brother and myself.
It was a very large project much like the online business building project I have going right now! Only difference? Yeah I have much more help and direction than my brother and I had as we built a house together.
Hope to see you around the WA!
