Want to have a highly engaged customer base? Then you will need to build an active email marketing list using one of the best tools out there.

While there are dozens of well-known solutions out there, I did a shortlist of the top 5. And this review highlights those top 5 services and why you should go for them.

That's not all because this review also exposes the good, the bad, and the ugly for each of the top 5 email tools. And without much ado, let's go through our top email marketing picks listed in no particular order.

1 - ConvertKit

This is a tool best suited for expanding your list of customers and helping users increase incoming orders. It's quite easy to integrate ConvertKit with other platforms like WordPress, LeadPages, and Shopify.

You can carry out email campaigns targeted at the individual needs and interests of your customers. It also lets you set up various purchase-based tags for specific customers or interests, and then send your emails to these people based on different topics that they have shown interest in.

Switching to ConvertKit from an email service doesn't have to be much of a bother for you because the email company will migrate your customer lists, the sequences, and also all your forms.

And for those still finding it tough to use the platform, there's help from the support team. There are a series of training designed to help you understand the platform and enjoy its full features.

Even if it's your first time on this email marketing solution, you will find it easy to set up and start using. You can select templates to use for your emails and also sales funnel creation.

Pros

  • It's a breeze having to migrate your data from a previous platform to ConvertKit because they handle the heavy lifting for you
  • You can segment your customer list and set up different tags for each of those segments. This is very helpful for sending out emails that match the needs and interests of the recipients
  • ConvertKit integrates nicely with a couple of popular online platforms and stores.

Cons

  • There is a limit to the extent of split testing that you can perform on ConvertKit.

Terrific training and information Israel. Very helpful.
Do you have any training on downloading and saving any lists that are created in an auto responder?
I've noticed they all say that you can download any lists you have and I am concerned that if I create a list with one of them than I won't be able to transfer it to another.
Or is this just a simple backup and save to your own documents?
Does it save in a excel format?

By the way, what are your thoughts on MailLite?

All so new.
Thanks for the answers in advance

Hi LIly! If you are saving email lists in Excel, no matter what, you will have it on your computer. If you need to transfer that list to another place, you will not be relying on ConvertKit or anyone else to keep your files safe. So, it should be a safe trial if you save in that manner.

That wasn't actually what I was asking. Have you ever saved a list from your autoresponder service?
If so, what format does it save it?
What does it look like on your computer?

Sorry if I confused you before.

Never mind, Lily? Every autoresponder service allows you to import and export email lists, so you can continue to access your lists again and again. You will always find the feature to do that when you login. If you need further assistance while you trying to do this, I am here for you.
