I have found that Wordpress and images can sometimes be finicky about how they all work. Over the last three months I have developed some tricks that I use to circumnavigate those problems and I want to share them with you today.

Hey James, I did it for one of my posts and it just looks better on the left side. With the pic on the right, the end of the paragraph is jagged and doesn't line up well with the picture. I agree with your assessment but I think for my short articles it looks better on the right.

Ken, checked out your site, and I see you have the images aligned to the left and I think that's what you meant to say in your comment.
However, when it all boils down to it, if you are happier with your images on the left, then go for it. You need to be happy with your site and when you are it will show through with your content.
Strictly from a reading perspective is can still cause some disorientation, but as long as the rest of your site is well presented I think you will be fine.

Hi Jim,
I congratulate you a very well done tutorial. I have only one question. Whenever I insert media into my post or page, I always must only use "none" in the display settings link box or my media does not show up on the page. I don't understand what is going on with this linking aspect.

That is partly why I did this training as that was something that I struggled with myself. I almost always now just get the image to where I want it and then add the caption or links from the main content area as I described here in the training. The best explanation that I have found is that Wordpress just gets finicky sometimes.
