I created this quick tutorial to show you the power of Tiny PNG. So what does Tiny PNG do? TinyPNG uses smart lossy compression techniques to reduce the file size of your PNG or jpg files. By selectively decreasing the number of colors in the image, fewer bytes are required to store the data. The effect is nearly invisible but it makes a very large difference in file size!

This one step can eliminate some optimizing time later on. Just drag and drop your images into the box area on the site, and then download the results.

Do this BEFORE you upload your images to your post. Also name them according to the post so that you can remember later on which original post it was created for.
