If you are unsure on the purpose and the importance of comments, then let’s just break that down to you.
Comments are essential to your website and it helps on a number of different levels.
Your readers will see that your website is already getting comments and are more likely to add their own comments or questions. Often a website with little or no comments can sometimes worry a reader. They wonder why it hasn’t already been getting engagement.
The Search Engines will also see these comments and think that post is really useful due to the number of people adding comments to it.
But these comments also add additional content to your post/website too.
I recently wrote a 2,000-word article on my blog, and yet using the Site Comments format that post is easily 3,000 words now.
Kyle has mentioned that his Affiliate Bootcamp site has posts that are tipping 10,000 words just by adding regular site comments jobs.
Getting organic comments will be really hard in the early stages of building a site, so the Site Comments platform inside Wealthy Affiliate is a really powerful tool. You will also find you will tend to get a higher-quality comment from us guys in WA too.
In this training, we will be breaking down all the different things to consider when using the platform, how to offer great quality comments, and even strive towards that Certified Commenter status.
But we will also be going through steps we can take to avoid the rejected comment. This is someones website, that they have worked really hard on. So we need to respect the site and do this properly. This is about the Pay-it-Forward mentality and not about rushing through comments to earn credits.
Let's Move onto Your Site Comments Dashboard
I've been involved in several discussions recently about Site Comments. It's obvious that some members haven't read the guidelines and do many of the things you point out they shouldn't!
It's frustrating for the site owner as no one wants to disapprove a comment, and also for the commenter who gets rejected.
Maybe there should be a quiz you have to take before you're allowed to comment :-)
Let's hope those who need to read this do :-)
