You can learn a lot from other people's websites.
What do you like and what turns you off? How are they using meta data? What key words are your competitors using?
Did you know you can view the source code in any website by going to View>Developer>View Source? It may be a little different on a PC. Even if you don't know html code, you will start to learn by looking at sections of code and seeing what it does. Look at the Title, the Description and what key words are used in the meta data.
The Title and Description are what the search engines display. They are the invitation to your website.
1. Make sure your title is a headline that grabs attention
2. Make sure the Description is accurate and inviting.
3. While metadata key words are not as important as previously, don't ignore them.
By default search engines use the first 160 words as the description they display. If your first paragraph describes your post you do not need to make any modifications.
Have a fantastic weekend.
You do know you can edit these, Right?
Spelling and grammar. Just an observation.
