As humans we have 10000's of thought every day and a lot of them are not the ones that help us move forward.
For example. We are set to write a post for our sites and a thought comes into our mind. "I can't think of what to write about"

This thought that entered our mind is a programmed behaviour thought that stems way back to a time when something happened in our lives and we felt inadequate or we lacked knowledge or a parent or teacher growled or something negative occured.
In our subconscious mind we have stored crap from our pasts and it is time to let it go for good today
So How do you you gain power over your mind?
- Acknowledge you have had past experiences that were not so good
- Say out loud- This is now and I am living in the moment
- Today I am free, full of inspiration and I write with ease and enthusiasm
- I am a great writer and I am helping people with my content every time I write
- I am filled with ideas and creative ways of writing great content
- My mind is always coming up with new ideas
Everytime you feed your mind with positive words of encouragement, your mind accepts whatever you feed it.
So from this moment, you will not allow anything negative enter your mind and you will say NO out loud if a stupid unworthy load of nonsense tries to enter without your permission.
Yes,, YOU ARE INCONTROL OF YOUR MIND!!!
Not the other way around
