You have a website. You want to promote it using PPC (Pay Per Click). How do you effectively accomplish this within what some would say is the "unstable" world of PPC these days. That is what I have dedicated this resource to, the best techniques for creating quality and successful PPC campaigns, regardless of the PPC network that you are using.
Google tends to really respect blogs in this day and age because they contain unique content, they are typically updated regularly, and they're very SEO friendly....and this applies to even PPC landing pages. Anything that qualifies for Google's SEO ranking, typically is in the good books with Google Adwords for paid campaigns.
Google Adwords, and to some degree MSN Adcenter (includes Bing and Yahoo), are becoming much tougher on affiliate marketers, in other words, anyone promoting other people's products. Some things that they are looking for in reference to landing pages are:
- multi-page websites
- unique content
- no bridge pages (where the full intention is getting people to "click" on affiliate links)
- highly relevant content
- your own website
Google obtains the greatest percentage of all search traffic online. In 2011 however, they did a complete wipe of the affiliate marketing industry, suspending close to ONE MILLION accounts in total. There were too many rogue affiliate marketers (in particular within the "make money" and "dieting" niches) within the Adwords network, instead of manually removing the bad ones, they cleared the slate.
If you follow the above guidelines and you utilize your website to create relevant pages to the keywords you are promoting you should be fine (no guarantees). There has never been a better time to be a PPC marketer if you can successfully master Google Adwords, as the competition has dwindled because of these suspensions. If you do not already have an account with Google Adwords, I suggest you get one now. If you have been suspended, you can also try creating another account as sometimes they do allow you back in.

And if you don't have a MSN Adcenter account (which allows you to promote your ads within Bing and Yahoo) you can get them here:

**Although they do not get as much traffic as Google, Adcenter can still can lead to many conversions. Do not overlook Bing and Yahoo as quality traffic sources, because their user base is a very good one.
