You might have felt during your web site development that current theme is not what your inner child wants it to be.

But you may fear new theme updates for many reasons.

1. Fear of unknown. You don’t know what issues you need to battle with a new theme update.

2. Though live demo before theme update is possible, you see in demo some things that need to be fixed, this may be stopping your decision for new theme updation.

3. Also you are worried of breaking the traffic behaviour on your site with new look and feel.

The following tutorial is based on my experiments with theme updations and I find them useful, for #1 and #2. This tutorial cannot address #3 as it is non technical in nature and it is your judgement call to go for a new theme with good faith and beleif.

The next page gives you the process steps I followed

Hi - I think a lot of people can get worried about making changes, and backups etc that may stop them from making any changes - so this will really help them.

Well done!

All the best, Mark
