Most of us have all been there or are currently there, trying to wrap our minds around another world, much less another word, while listening to a training or getting into a lesson. It is a lot to process. The frustration is real, right!? We feel like we are in high school all over again cramming for a test. We need a vocabulary list, almost! Maybe, even pictures!

Hope this little glossary of terms will be helpful and convenient. I also tried to write the definition in plan English.

So, let's get started brushing up on some simple terms.(I may even add a definition or two just to keep you on your toes and have a little fun with you!)

Your Online Dictionary!

A.

Ad rotator- (see rotator)

Admin- Short for administrator. It is the role assigned to the person who has complete access and control over a website.

Affiliate- A person who shares or distributes a product or service for a commission. If you are reading this, then you are automatically a WA affiliate. Share the joy!

Affiliate link- The url link an affiliate for a product or service uses to share said product or service.

Backend- This area, also called the back office or dashboard, is where you control your website. (See picture below..)

Basically, it allows the design on all your pages/posts to be consistent throughout your website using html code. Changing one thing changes it all, for better or for worse, so,only change something you absolutely for sure how to change or else... Ha! Thank you for that truly kind comment! Joseph! It was nerve wrecking at first trying to decide how to format it but once I had a system it became fun as I love words. Have worked on it for several months and then watched a video by Brendon Burchard about distraction and push myself all day until midnight to get it done! Now I have a headache!! Lol! A labor of love! And yes I wil update here when ever I add something. Great idea! Thank you my friend! :) pj

I appreciate this post. People throw these terms around, and I have no idea what they mean. This one gets printed out and put in the notebook as a reference
