I assume you are using Yoast?

Some advice here:
https://kb.yoast.com/kb/why-is-google-saying-my-xml-video-sitemap-is-an-html-file/

And:
https://kb.yoast.com/kb/xml-sitemap-errors/

Also make sure you're submitting the sitemap correctly. For example, don't type the entire domain URL into the field, just the xml extension.

Thanks Jude!
I found my problem in your link, it says like this
"Typically this happens with video sitemaps when you’re running W3 Total Cache and you’ve ticked the setting to hide the sitemap from normal visitors. What W3TC does is cache the error which normal visitors get, if they want to view the video XML sitemap."

What's W3 Total Cache? I'm totally lost here

Thank you for the easy to follow training. My sitemap had errors, so I looked to Yoast for a solution and wow it was complicated. I searched WA and found this, problem solved.
Thanks again.

I hope might goes through, it say's this when I view the test, but i've done everything in my wordpress settings, etc to make sure I am on the correct time zone.

An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.

Hi Chris. Just double check that your time zone in wordpress matches your system time zone. This can sometimes cause issues.
If everything seems ok then just submit the sitemap anyway. After that just give it a couple of days and then check if all your urls have been indexed in webmaster tools.
If some have not, then check for any crawl errors. Let me know how you get along.

Thanks for sharing Gary. But I wonder why Yoast is so slow to populate my site sitemap. I used it few months now, but i could only see 6 urls listed in sitemap. What is wrong with it. Pio

Hi Pio. I am really not sure why you experienced that with Yoast. My sitemaps all seem to be fully populated almost immediately. Maybe they had a glitch in the program which has now been resolved with their updates.
I will double check on all my urls though now that you have said that. Thanks for sharing. Gary.
