PAGE 1 – What I came up with thinking outside of the box

PAGE 2 – You may think it is illegal but you are definitely wrong

PAGE 3 – This is so versatile there are many niche markets for this

PAGE 4 – When a cool somewhat expensive hobby can earn you money

Here are two young and untapped types of businesses that could be quite profitable. One may seem a bit controversial, but this is only because of the misinformation surrounding it. But don’t worry, it is 100% legal. The second type of business is a true hobby turned money maker.

In the coming pages I will be describing both of these new business ideas, both of which I may actually try one day, once I have more free time. But I wanted to share them with you now because they are both destined to be great money makers, as both are becoming more part of society.

NEXT UP = Learning why this is not as controversial as you might think

Great information Robert, I certainly didn't realise the many uses for hemp. Thanks very much for sharing.

You are welcome Tommy. A lot of people don't realize all of the beneficial uses of hemp.

Even though I know of many of the health benefits of hemp and how it is a better way to make clothing and paper, I did not know that you could make a car from it and that it is stronger than steel.

I love doing research. :)

Hey Robert!
Great post - some good ideas that deserve some genuine thought.

I just bought a hemp t-shirt a few weeks back and love it. It's so comfortable.

Most of us know the the basics of marihuana being made illegal (and it's by-products) - you are of course correct in saying it was all about money and power. And the fact that prohibition was a "flop" the government needed a scapegoat - bad choice in my opinion.

sidenote: In my life (and I believe in general), alcohol has caused so much more harm and pain than smoking pot. Alcohol has ruined peoples lives!
Marihuana should have been made legal long ago, and we have huge and enormous value in it's medicinal benefits.

And hemp products are excellent!

I always shake my head at the ignorance of many people when it comes to marijuana, alcohol and cigarettes. Of those three drugs, and both alcohol and cigarettes are drugs, only marijuana has the most health giving qualities and is illegal in most areas.

No one has ever gotten cancer smoking marijuana because both the THC and CBD cannabinoids kill cancer cells. Then when you consider all of the health and industrial uses for the fibrous part of the plant which is hemp, it just makes me shake my head again that it is was made illegal, all because it threatened the profits of the timber and drug companies.

When you think that the people that claim it is so dangerous and bad for your health are people who drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes, both of which cause cancer and many other health problems, it just proves that these people are speaking out of their ignorance of the facts and basing their logic on what they were programmed to think is best.

Do you remember those old magazine and TV ads that said, "More Doctors Smoke Camels Than Any Other Cigarette"?

Cool ideas. I actually use hemp milk in my coffee (no THC content and available in all grocery stores), preferring its taste to milk or cream.

Hemp milk is very healthy. I'm going to try it one of these days. I happen to like the taste of cashew milk. That is my current favorite. But would definitely like to try hemp milk because I know the seeds in salads taste great!

Thank you. They are legal here in the U.S. too, though drones does have some restrictions and need to be registered, but still legal.

Drone businesses are somewhat hampered in the UK by regulations which are likely to be tightened further thanks to some idiotic near misses with commercial aircraft. Not to say there are no possibilities in this field, but it's not easy here. No doubt there are or will be regulations in other countries also.

Hemp ... well, that's another matter :-)
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
There are regulations here too in the use of drones but with them becoming more popular, new laws and regulations I am sure will be coming in the near future.

With hemp, I would think that the more open and accepting Europe would be all for hemp, especially since it is in no way a drug and has so many beneficial uses.

Because if the U.S. government could legalize it, and we tend to be behind most of the world when it comes to something natural that is good for the economy, I am sure the UK could do a bit better. ;-)

Both ideas are great, I am a Nigerian where hemp is illegal, but am interested. And on the second idea, am 100% in love, though, have not into the aviation laws of my country, think I will give it a serious thought. How do I get detailed information on these camera drones, need your advice and direction? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for sharing, God bless you.
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
I would think if the backwards and late-thinking U.S. government can finally legalize hemp in all 50 states because it is in no way a drug, I would think other countries could do the same.

As for drones, this is going to be a bit more difficult because technically a drone could cause harm to people should it interfer with an aircraft. But more and more people are using drones, especially here in the U.S.

There are strict rules governing the use of Camera drones in my Country. Also think hemp is banned too.
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
There are strict rules in almost every country for camera drones but it is something that eventually will be more popular. As for hemp, if the U.S. can legalize it for industrial uses and realize the fact that it is not a drug and it is safe to use, then I am sure other countries can do so as well.

It also has a great feel to it. So soft. I thought it was very interesting about Levi's. Would explain why they no longer are as good as when I was a kid.
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
Exactly! When they were made of hemp they last a long time. Hemp is so durable that military uniforms back in WWI and WWII were made of hemp. The more and more I research hemp, the more and more I can see it being a very profitable niche for the now and future.

I like both of these ideas. My wife is a real estate agent and I have been thinking about getting a camera drone to do her outside pictures. I did not know that hemp was legal again. I had read about it a long time ago and my grandfather had some ot the rope when I was a kid. That was a long long time ago. ; ) Thanks for the post. Dave.

P.S. How is your family doing?
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
They use drones a lot for real estate both outside shots and inside shot. Hemp should have never been illegal because it is so beneficial and it is impossible to get high from it.

The only reason why it was made illegal was because the big corporate giants who owned timber for making paper and the fuel corporations wanted it made illegal because hemp is a better paper and fuel.

Things are getting better.

Great business opportunities Robert. I just have a couple warnings about using drones for pay.

As of now, drones used for commercial purposes in the US must be certificated under part 333 of the FAA regulations and they must be operated by an FAA certified pilot. The good news is that you don't need a commercial pilots certificate. A private or sportlcertificate will do.

These requirements are likely to changes as drones become more prevalent. The FAA may decide to issue drone only certificates in the future.

If you plan to engage in this business, please do your homework. Failure to comply with FAA regulations can result in large fines for the pilot and the business employing them.

Yes, if you are going to fly a drone in the same airspace as aircraft, just like with all radio controlled model aircraft, you should register it and you should never breach the 400 foot high limit regardless.

The only place you can fly a drone where it doesn't require an FAA certificate is when used indoors. But again, all RC aircraft need to be registered with the FAA and the cost, according to the FAA is only $5. Most definitely following guidelines is important.

Excellent ideas. Drones too competitive already because of cheap one flooding the market from Chinese market
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
Yes, if you are looking at the drone market for the selling of drones, it is getting a bit competitive with the cheaper models coming out. But if you get into the drone market solely to provide aerial filming, that is still relatively new because most people are doing that for only personal visual entertainment.
