I was recently asked by some clients to assist with setting up ads on their blogs.

Some have submitted applications to AdSense multiple times, but got rejected. Needless to say, most of them remain persistent despite all. Not that they cannot get approved for AdSense at all as there are a couple of similar Ad networks out there to apply with, they needed to build out more content and then reapply later.

I've appled to the Sovrn Ad network for two of my blog sites and I've been accepted. But I must admit after that there is no support. I'm always directied to a "Get Started" page where I have to create a new account before continuing. I must say the user interface is the pits and I was left with no where to go and they mention something called Meridian which they never tell you what it is - I finally figured its the program they use on their site to handle ads and users but no where was that explained and I'm still stuck with no instructions on how to ad the tags to my site. I did create one tag and added the code to one of my blog sites within the "header text area" using the plugin "insert headers and footers" but nothing showed up on my site as far as ads. This is so confusing. I will definitely have to contact their support team.

Sorry, you had to go through the rigors in getting SOVRN ads featured on your site, sdawson! In fact, you're the second publisher to say the same thing concerning SOVRN ads not showing up on the site. And this, however, led me to recommending Infolinks as one of the best Google AdSense alternatives out there. Once you apply and place snippet code on your site, ads will start appearing on your site almost immediately, and they do have an amazing publisher support. Thanks for your observation!

Hi Parameter, you're much welcome onboard. Yeah, most people get frustrated in the course of applying for Google AdSense. And most times, Google AdSense wouldn't let you know why they are unable to accept you into their program. Oh, sorry for the inconveniences, Carmen! There must be some mix-ups somewhere, though getting approved for SOVRN isn't that difficult. I don't believe your location was responsible for their non-response to your emails. If I may ask, were you so sure that your emails got delivered to the recipient's address?
