FACEBOOK
One of the largest and most used platforms for social marketing. Facebook makes this very easy for you. If you have a personal page then you can do this.
You Need to make a Business or Fan Page for your Niche. This is a must do and you want to avoid Facebook Jail or having your friends tag you as annoying rather than their Go-To -Guy or GAL.
This is important for M.L.M. and Direct Sales as well as Affiliate Marketing. You can advertise your page, you can post information to your products and direct links to your Blog can be set up.
3 Steps
#1. Take or Have a professional photo done of YOU. Sorry, I love my dog, but that will not work to build professionalism and you. You are your Brand.
#2. Choose a name for your page that is very similar to your website or Blog or go with your own name. One of these 3 only! (website, blog, or personal name)
# 3. On your personal page, in the upper right hand corner, you will see a down arrow net to the lock symbol. Click on this and in the drop down, click on create Page.
Choose public figure or Brand/Product For most Public Figure is what works best. Another drop down comes up for you to choose your category. From there it is self-explanatory.
Header & Posts
You can make a header that will be the perfect fit for FREE . Just type into your search bar 'free Facebook header templates'. What will come up will surprise you and you can even find one for Twitter here.
If you have ever fiddled with finding the perfect 'fit' for your header image you will more than appreciate this.
Once you have yours done to your liking you can download and save as or in some cases you can upload directly to your page.
You can make changes and add things in your settings on your new page. You will tweak your page several times I am sure, and youWANT and NEED to have likes and connections made.
Having Your Professional Page Set Up Allows for such more more. When you have your page set up,
- you will connect with like minded people and those looking for what you have to offer.
- You can Advertise your page and remember you are integrating your website or blog as well. Advertising with Facebook is the most reasonable source of advertising you will find. Yes, even beats Twitter costs.
The most important steps in your advertising are in choosing the right demographics so you have the right eyes on You. Choose your target Wisely, Set a daily limit and set a total cost you are comfortable with. Facebook offers a lot of options here as well.
If I had to choose only one advertising source online it would be Facebook.
