If you've been having trouble sharing your affiliate links, whether they're WA ones or from any other program, on Pinterest then I have a suggestion for you.

If your website is up and running the best way to share your links is to share your articles, however if you specifically want to share a direct link from your program to Pinterest then you can use the Pretty Link plugin on your site (or other link tidier plugin) to share your banner links.

So here is it is in simple steps.

1. Choose the link you want to share.

2. Head over to your website and open your pretty link plugin (or whatever you're using)

3. Enter the link URL

4. Create your pretty link, and save it.

5. Copy the link you have created

6. Head on over to Pinterest and share it

I have used Pinterest in this training as this is the social media platform that seems to most commonly block affiliate links if they are shared directly.

Thank you for watching

Jenny

Hello Jenny, do you ever use Instagram? Trying to decide which platform is better for promotions?

Hi, I have to say that although I have an instagram account I'm not that active on it. I've focused on facebook, twitter and Pinterest so far. Mainly because that was what I was already familiar with and I've been learning so many other new things that to add another social media platform in was a bit much. There's also so much about facebook and twitter and Pinterest that I didn't and still don't know!!!! Everyday learning something new.
