PAGE 4 = Why this approach is solely for social media sharing, not rankings

Back in the early days of both Wealthy Affiliate, WA, and the sharing of links on social media, affiliate marketing was more widely accepted. However for various reasons, that has now changed in this current day and age.

SOCIAL MEDIA & GOOGLE FEEL THE SAME WAY

Because of the explosive growth in affiliate marketing both from legitimate and not so favorable affiliate programs, people are sharing affiliate links with increasing frequency. If you do not know by now, Google does not like affiliate marketing websites with many affiliate links.

With so many people into affiliate marketing, too many people are over using their affiliate links and both Google and social media are starting to crackdown. But there is a way around the blocking of affiliate links that I have been successfully doing for the past year and I will share how in this tutorial.

HI Robert
Thanks for this very helpful lesson.

If you share a WA blog/training will non-members still be able to get access to the blog?
How do it exactly? Click on the blue affiliate button and copy that link to your content or to your photo whichever you want?
I assume I will get the affiliate commission even if it is not my blog?

Peace and all the best

Yes. Non-members have access to all blogs/trainings because all of these get indexed into Google.

And when you place the links in your website content people will have access to WA through those links.

If these non-members choose to join WA from reading the blogs/trainings, you will get the referral credit.

The below link shows you what non-members see when viewing your WA blogs/trainings. If the WA links you share are not from content you created, you need to use the affiliate link of that blog/training.

If the WA links you share are of content you did create, you can share the regular link without your affiliate ID number.

Thanks for the training!. We can't post the affiliate link directly but we could post our blog post or pages which contain affiliate links without an issue correct. Just double checking.

Yes, you are correct. That is the reason for creating a website such as the one I am talking about in this tutorial.

And for the social media networks that do not have a problem with affiliate links, this website will give an extra option of posting something different than just a straight up affiliate link.

Hey John,

You can build free websites right here at WA. See screen print below...

Hope this helps you.

I meant a free website where I could post and advertise my WA websites

I do not know of any third party free websites to advertise on. But social media websites are the best place to freely advertise because more people get their info from social media nowadays.

Oh sorry about that John, I'm the same as Rob for not knowing of any free websites to advertise on, as social media is the freebie detailed in Rob's tutorial here.

Thank you for pointing out the similarities between SM (primarily Face book) and Google Robert!

You are welcome Michael. Fortunately for me I have not had any major problems with Facebook and continue to post in up to 42 different Groups at least twice a week. But Pinterest and Google+ are definitely on the same page.

Hi Rob, you make this look so easy!

It does make sense not to care about getting ranked by Google seeing that it is solely for social media.

Thanks for the tips on how many times to post and when.
I read a few blog posts on how members get blocked and it doesn't have to be that way.

Great tutorial, I'm sure it will benefit many members as it benefits me. Thanks for sharing your small website.

You are welcome Patsy.

Of those blogs I have read where members are getting blocked, this is a good work-around to that problem.

Sure it will take a few hours to set up a home landing page and one or two blogs, but once it is done all you need to do is share the link to it.

Of those blogs I have read where members have been temporarily banned from Faebook, that mainly has to do with listing too many identical links in many different FB Groups and at the same time with automated listing.

When you manually post your listing in any number of FB Groups, the chances of you getting banned are slim to none. Yes it will take longer to post as many times, but the longer time reduces the chances of getting in trouble.

I have patience for posting manually, for myself I would not have listed identical links to so many at once. It's asking for trouble and looks so spammy.

Yesterday I left a comment on a blog post exactly about this topic and I just left her the link for your tutorial.

This is the blog post... Thanks again!

Yes, the problem many are having with FB Groups is that they are posting too much within 24 hours and many times the same exact link.

Also some groups do not allow posting with links. People need to read and abide by the Group Rules, everyone is different. Sometimes you have to post and ask people if they want info. Once they reply you can PM your link.

Paul (Goodwin) left a blog post and in it he stated how Facebook blocked him again. It's happened to him many times, so I left him the link to your blog post here.

I'm glad I'm learning all of this now before I even create my Facebook business page. I have all the information I need to do it now.

Thanks for all your help and support, and your excellent thorough tutorials!
