CREATING YOUR PROFILE

Visit the home page on twitter.

Follow the onscreen steps to set up on an account.

Use your real name when setting up the account. Once the account is set up you can choose a user name for your account.

Set up your profile page.

On the right hand side of the your twitter home page there is a list of things that you can add to your home page. This list disappears after you have your home page set up.

  • PHOTO: Upload a good headshot of yourself.
  • BIO: Write a short description about yourself or your business. Your bio cannot exceed 160 characters.

  • WEBSITE: Enter the complete web address http:www.abc.com
  • BACKGROUND: Personalize your twitter page by selecting a background image.

Include your location so people can find you easier. People you know can find you by searching by your name and location.

Start with a simple home page. The most important thing now is to get an account setup and to get in the habit of creating tweets.

Your homepage can be edited at any time by choosing settings in the drop down menu by your avatar.

I loved this. My account has been inactive since 2014. I'm coming back with force, plus I just bought my new domain. I updated Twitter with some good pride. Thank you very much.

You requested our twitter accounts. Here is mine.

Great and easy to follow training. Twitter does not have to be a big time suck (it can be), but there are many upside benefits to creating your social accounts associated with your brand, whether it is a personal brand or your business brand. Get tweeting!
