Why choosing your battles wisely matters?
Writing reviews about new products does make Google go: “New content, great!”
Your posts should be at least 500 words if you don’t have enough time to fiddle a lot with it. Preferably, it should be at least 1.000 words long. That’s what Google loves even more and tends to move immediately such posts up on its ranking.
What I mean by choosing your battles wisely?
Do not write about any product that comes out. Even if you wanted to, you don’t have enough time.
Take for example the following screenshot taken from JVZoo.
You see all newly released products have less than 10 sales. The last one at the bottom has 250. Perhaps you’d be better off writing a very comprehensive review about that single product, than perhaps five reviews of other products.
On the other hand, you never know if some of these products will become very popular. If they do, improve on such posts and turn them into killer reviews.
Sometimes a single in-depth review can contribute more than all other reviews put together.
My only concern is that if everyone at WA were to do this, it would be much more difficult to grab the #1 spot. Luckily, there are so many new launches every day, there might be plenty to go round anyway.
