Without rethinking the old conditioning which we are reminded of growing up, we forfeit bettering ourselves in the future. For example phrases like. "Money is the Root of all Evil. We are destined to be workers. I cannot because I'm average." On and on...
Most all of us are conditioned to complain on a regular basis about the job we hate, our lack of income, the government, our old worn out living conditions and many other things...long before we are willing to do anything about it. Especially change from within, where our problems really lay.
The reason many tend to reach and all time low in life before they become aware of this need for such an inward change, is we are creatures of habit. Lazy as well. We think the way we do because of conditioning, and we think our actions and thoughts to be well in the range of normal.
So, we tell ourselves we are okay mentally and on the inside. Nothing wrong there... We then busy ourselves looking for outside change. How to make more money, buy that new house, new car, new lifestyle.
Take a look at our bodies. Are you healthy, working out, and dieting using the top methods taught today? Keeping in shape and honoring your body? Probably not. Why not?
Do you even understand that we need a dose of exercise to keep fit? If you are over weight and out of shape, guess what. It means you are too lazy to go that extra mile.
And, we say we are too busy working for others all day and giving all we got to fill the need for making more cash in order to live on what little cash we make.
Not exercising our bodies means we are not exercising our minds. We are really the walking dead. Moving in mass down a dead end road.
We are not seeking change because everything appears to be normal. At least we think. We trade time for cash. So we think this is the way things will continue.
Is your life limited and on a dead end road. We must use our mind to change things from the inside out. But, if we are neglecting our bodies and allow ourselves to be out of shape...Then we are probably failing to strengthen our mind and how we think, as well.
No one can really take care of you unless you're wiling to do it yourself - and this includes people who have addictions, (smoking, sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping and etc.). It takes a commitment to improve your own being - mind, body and spirit in order for one to truly become the person that he/she can potentially be and achieve in the course of a lifetime. This would include personal happiness, great health, monetary wealth, career achievements, (which includes running a successful online business), a spiritual relationship with their God and so on.
This is one of those articles, Rick that should be read by ALL WA members if anything just for motivation. To be blunt I don't make that statement all that often either!
