Have you worked hard on a post and been quite happy with it but want to try something a bit different?

You work hard at the new concept but when you look at your post it is not exactly what you wanted.

There is no need to start again and try to recreate your previous 'look'. WordPress give you the facility to go back to previous revisions and choose the one you want shown.

This video shows how easy it is to do this (I hope!)

I'd really like to know if this is helpful to anyone so please leave a comment with your thoughts. Remember though, this making videos lark is still in its infancy in my life.

Thanks

Jackie

You solved my problem and you did it in 2 minutes when Tech Support couldn't in 2 days.

May I ask you another related question: Has it ever happened to you that you couldn't add New Pages and you only got the error message "Sorry, link has expired. Try again."?
This is what Tech Support cannot resolve in countless messages. They told me to try it from an incognito page and there it does work, but I want my main WA page to work on.
It is so frustrating. Even Kyle has not answered yet.
Does anyone have advise?

You are trying to add a new page to your website and keep getting that message when clicking on the New Page menu item, is that correct?

If you are getting that message but everything else is working okay, there are a couple of things to try...

(1) I would check to make sure that you have the latest version of WordPress...
(2) There may be a plugin that is affecting theme performance. Have you added one in lately? If so try deactivating and seeing if that solves the problem.
(3) Try switching themes to see if things work properly. If so there is a problem with the theme that is affecting the basic framework...In that case, I would drop a support ticket into the theme support site

If this is happening in a browser (like Chrome) maybe also try signing into the website admin using a different one to see if the problem is coming from that...

Also, you may try clearing the cache and restarting your laptop to see if that may help...

These are the things I would do, let's see what others suggest...Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

Cheers!

Hi Jackie

Thank You, that is very useful for me.

A little question, with your permission.

What is this "Divi Builder" tool, that You use in the video:?
Is it an alternative Word Press Editor?
Is that handy?

Thank in advance

Alex

Hello Elaine
You are right, once you publish your post it can be seen on your website but you can always edit it.
