It is even possible to sometimes identify Fake News. How can that be done? If a post has many likes and comments, you can often search an image attached to find the source and determine if it is valid or not.

Stories from organizations such as CNN, BBC or Reuters will generally been checked and verified before but even here you need to check the newspapers home page to see if the story came directly from the originating source or is a doctored mock-up.

Only your imagination, can add to the uses of reverse engine image technology to check on the validity and legality of websites, photos, copyrights and much more.

There are other search engines not mentioned but I invite you to find them, try them, and see how they might differ one from the other.
